The City is ready for the next phase of planning for Driskell Park! Join staff from the Neighborhood Design Center at an upcoming meeting to review the Park’s draft Master Plan and refine it based on major themes from the work of David Driskell. Meetings will be held Tuesday, November 14, at the City Building, 4310 Gallatin St., from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 18, at the Driskell Park Recreation Center, 3911 Hamilton St., from 1-3 p.m. No registration is needed, and anyone is welcome to attend! Community members will also be able to contribute virtually via HelloHyattsville.com in the coming days – stay tuned!

Join our community partner, Defensores de la Cuenca, for Spanish-language Tree Care and Community Science Trainings! Participants will help care for community trees and learn about our local environment. Become a community scientist by documenting plant and animal species in the park while you work! Follow the roadway past the dog park; meet in the back parking lot by the Comic Hero Playground.
