  2. Diaper Distribution

    The City of Hyattsville and the Greater DC Diaper Bank are hosting a free diaper distribution on November 17, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the City Building (4310 Gallatin Street). No pre-registration or City residency is required, but families must provide one proof of the child's date of birth. Examples of proof include but are not limited to a birth certificate, insurance card, passport, immunization record, or childcare bill. Questions?   3. Community NARCAN Training

    November 17, 2022, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

    Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®, is a life-saving drug used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Naxlone is available without a prescription in most pharmacies. Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose and safely administer Naxolone at a community training session on Thursday, November 17, from 6-7 PM at the Hyattsville City Building Multipurpose Room. Registration is required, and participants must live in the incorporated City of Hyattsville (verify your address at hyattsville.org/isithyattsville). Additional trainings will be offered at a later date. The Prince George’s County Health Department will provide everyone that completes the training with a single dose of NARCAN® they can use in an emergency.
