2. Community NARCAN® Training

   Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®, is a life-saving drug used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Naxlone is available without a prescription in most pharmacies.

   The City of Hyattsville is offering two NARCAN training sessions for community members on January 26 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Hyattsville City Building, 4310 Gallatin Street. 

   Registration is required and participants must live in the incorporated City of Hyattsville (verify your address at hyattsville.org/isithyattsville).

   The Prince George’s County Health Department will provide everyone that completes the training with a single dose of NARCAN® they can use in an emergency.
