    Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®, is a life-saving drug used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Naxlone is available without a prescription in most pharmacies.

    Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose and safely administer Naxolone at an upcoming community training session:

    • Thursday, November 16, from 6 - 7 PM at the Hyattsville City Building, 4310 Gallatin Street
    • Friday, November 17, from 10 - 11 AM at the Hyattsville City Building, 4310 Gallatin Street

    Registration is required. Please note in your registration form which date you would like to attend.

    The Prince George’s County Health Department will provide everyone who completes the training with a single dose of NARCAN® they can use in an emergency.
