2. Community NARCAN® Training

   Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®, is a life-saving drug used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Naxlone is available without a prescription in most pharmacies.

   Learn how to recognize an opioid overdose and safely administer Naxolone at a community training session on Thursday, November 17 from 6-7 PM at the Hyattsville City Building Multipurpose Room. 

   Registration is required and participants must live in the incorporated City of Hyattsville (verify your address at hyattsville.org/isithyattsville).

   The Prince George’s County Health Department will provide everyone that completes the training with a single dose of NARCAN® they can use in an emergency.
