Mini- and Early Dismissal Day Camps!
School's out, Camp's in!
Mini Camps are held during the school year on days when Prince George's County Public Schools are closed. Find the calendar of available dates below.
Just like our other seasonal day camp programs, Mini Camps create a space for children in grades K - 5 to explore arts and crafts, learn a little with STEM, and gain exposure to various sports and games.
New for the 23-24 School Year: Early Dismissal Camp!
The City will offer day camp from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on PGCPS early dismissal days. Dates are listed below.

Dates and Times for Upcoming Camps
The City is hosting single-day mini-camp sessions on the dates listed below. Each camp date will start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. After Care Camp is available for an additional fee from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Registration
Registration for all camp sessions opens on Monday, August 14. Registration and payments are made via RecDesk. Please select both the date and grade range (K-2 or 3-5) for your child when registering.
If you do not have a RecDesk account, we recommend creating an account at least one day before registration beings, as the account address verification process can take up to 24 hours. Create a RecDesk account.

The fee is for one (1) child per day. Note all fees are due at the time of registration.
Extended hour camp fees are not applicable for early dismissal camp*
Residency
What does it mean to be a City of Hyattsville resident? And why are fees different for Non-City residents?
A City of Hyattsville resident refers to those who live within the incorporated limits of the City of Hyattsville. Residents pay City taxes and therefore pay a reduced fee. Please note that having a Hyattsville mailing address does not necessarily indicate you are a City of Hyattsville resident.

Accommodations and Inclusion
Please let us know if your child needs any accommodations for their time at camp. You can indicate special needs during the registration process or in your child's RecDesk profile.
We will contact you within one week (5 business days) after the registration submission to discuss the best action plan for inclusion. All requests must be made at least two weeks (10 business days) before the start of any camp program to ensure the best service for your child.
