Harvest and Use
- Harvest in September - October. Pick when the fruit is hard but fully colored light-orange. Let ripen at room temperature in a cool, dry area until they are soft like a tomato.
- Fruits have a delicate, honey-like flavor.
- Persimmons can be eaten raw, cooked into pies, cakes, or breads, or made into jams or jellies!
