Mulberry (Weeping)

Mulberry Weeping

Available at the Emerson Food Forest

Harvest and Use

  • Harvest in June. Berries are dark purple and fall off easily when ripe. Pluck individual berries or gently shake a tree limb above a bucket or a sheet to catch falling berries.
  • Berries are sweet and slightly tart.
  • Mulberries can be eaten whole, baked into pies, cakes and breads or made into jams and jellies. They are also a great addition to smoothies and juices!
