Camp Staycation
Camp Staycation is a FREE summer program intended for youth going into 6th through 12th grade in the fall of 2022. We are hosting 8 weeks of in-person recreational and educational field trips, as well as on-site workshops, activities and special guest speakers.
Program Details
Camp Staycation starts the week of June 27, 2022 and concludes the week of August 15, 2022. The programs will meet weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There are few field trips that may meet later in the day; these activities will be noted in registration. Each week participants will attend 1 recreational, 1 educational, and 1 workshop/special guest activity.
Interested participants must register for the entire weeks session. Participants should only register for a week if available to attend at least 2 of the 3 activities listed. Single day registration is not available.
Participants will meet at outside of the Hyattsville Teen Center (3911 Hamilton Street) located in Driskell Community Park. Transportation will be provided to the field trips or activity location from the Teen Center.

Registration for current and active participants Teen Center participants opens on Monday, June 6.
Registration opens on Wednesday, June 8 for the other youth living in the City of Hyattsville or attending school at Hyattsville Middle School, Nicholas Orem Middle School, Northwestern High School, Chelsea School, DeMatha High School or St. Jerome.
