A public hearing will be held on Monday, November 16, at 6:30 p.m. to hear testimony from residents regarding proposed amendments to the City’s Charter that will move the City’s Election Day to the second Tuesday in May, reduce the timeline for the Board of Supervisors of Elections to certify the election, and change the process by which the Council President & Vice President are elected. These changes have been proposed as part of legislation which will also designate the 2021 City election as an all Vote-by-Mail election. To attend the Hearing, register using the link below.
