The City of Hyattsville is helping students returning to in-person learning this fall by hosting a school supply drive and a Back-T0-School-A-Thon!
Back-To-School-A-Thon (Thursday, September 2, 6 - 8 p.m.)
Future Teen Center Site: 5812 40th Avenue
Pick up free school supplies on Thursday, September 2, 6 - 8 p.m., at the future Teen Center location, 5812 40th Ave. Local organizations and City committees will have helpful back-to-school resources, and City staff will have details about the Center's building plans and fall activities! Free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines will be available for anyone 12 and older and booster doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available for immunocompromised individuals. And BONUS: We'll have treats, music, and games for everyone!
Curbside supply pick-up: If you'd prefer to have supplies delivered to your car, please pull up to the designated curbside pick-up spot on 40th Ave just after the intersection with Nicholson Street.
Please note that no parking signs will be posted at the site 48 hours before the event, and limited on-street parking is available in the neighborhood. Walking or carpooling to the event is encouraged. As the building is still under construction, public bathrooms are not available.
