Finance Department

The City Treasurer manages the Finance Department, including:
  • Properly accounting and reporting of all financial activities of the city
  • Providing financial information as one element in making policy and administrative decisions
  • Preparing the city's Annual Budget
  • Preparing the city's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
  • Preparing and distributing the city payroll
  • Paying all city bills
  • Investing city funds and debt service on bond issues
The Finance Department receives all revenues due the city including:
  • Intergovernmental revenues
  • Real property taxes
  • Rental unit license fees
  • Business license fees
  • Traders and peddlers licenses
  • Temporary sales permit fees  
  • Traffic and other fines
