The Office of Volunteer Services seeks to match enthusiastic volunteers with a variety of needs throughout the City. Residents and non-residents, individuals and groups, people of all ages and abilities are all invited to participate in service. The City ensures service projects are safe and meaningful, tracks service hours, and can provide documentation and letters of recommendation when appropriate. Each year the City also hosts a reception to thank all volunteers and give awards for outstanding service.
