The Storm of '10

UPDATED:  February 8, 2010 at 2:57 p.m.

Long-time City residents may be aware that during most storms, Public Works first opens one passable lane on our streets, then attempts to clear streets curb to curb.

Due to the significant snowfall we've experienced and the additional accumulation likely Tuesday evening, we will NOT attempt to clear curb to curb.

Instead, we are focusing our resources on keeping the already plowed lanes open. Public Works crews will also haul snow away around intersections.

This should minimize snow being pushed back across cleared sidewalks.

Many thanks for your cooperation and patience.
